Recently, the Second Tianjin Forum on Contemporary Chinese Marxism sponsored by Nankai University and other units was held in Tianjin. More than 180 experts and scholars from 12 provinces and cities, 52 institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutions and other units conducted in-depth discussions on Xi Jinping's new concept, new ideas and new strategies of governing the country-the theory and practice of contemporary Chinese Marxism. Professor Hong Yinxing, former Party Secretary of Nanjing University, and Professor Pang Jinju, Director of Nanjing University attended and delivered keynote speeches.
