At 9: 00 on October 18th, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was grandly opened in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a report on behalf of the 18th Central Committee, comprehensively summarized the work of the Party since the 18th National Congress, and made comprehensive arrangements for the work in the next five years or even longer. On October 19th, Center for Studies of Political Economy of Nankai University, together with the Collaborative Innovation Center for China Economy and the National Research Center of Socialist Political Economy with Chinese Characteristics, held a symposium on studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress in the School of Economics.
Zhu Guanglei, Vice President and Director of Collaborative Innovation Center for China Economy, professor Pang Jujin, Director of Center for Studies of Political Economy of Nankai University and Chair Professor of Nankai University attended the symposium. Researchers from Center for Studies of Political Economy of Nankai University and members of the General Theory Research Group of Socialist Political Economy with Chinese Characteristics participated together.
