On the morning of January 13, 2018, the opening ceremony of the advanced seminar Political Economy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era-Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening up was held in Conference Room 728, Mingde Main Building, Renmin University of China. This seminar is the sixth session of Lecture Hall of Political Economy, sponsored by School of Economics of Renmin University of China and assisted by Collaborative Innovation Center for China Economy. It lasted from January 13 to January 16, with a total of 10 lectures, attended by more than 90 students from government agencies at all levels, central party schools, local party schools, universities and other enterprises and institutions. With the theme of Political Economy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era-Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up, this advanced seminar strengthens the study, research and application of Marxist political economy, comprehensively summarizes the development course of Marxist political economy in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, and promotes the construction of economic disciplines that fully reflect Chinese characteristics, Chinese style and Chinese style.
