On September 23rd, the seminar on “Income Distribution And Poverty Reduction” was held in the conference room on the eighth floor of the School of Economics. The conference was organized by School of Economics of Nankai University. More than ten scholars from Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin Polytechnic University and Nankai University attended the seminar. The conference was chaired by Professor Zhong Maochu, scholar of the Center. The seminar focused on the new book "General Theory of Income Distribution of Chinese Residents: China's Road and Experience from Poverty to Common Prosperity" by Professor Chen Zongsheng's research group of the Center, and the results of accurate poverty alleviation research conducted by Nankai Poverty Alleviation Research Group.
