On April 30th, "Sino-Japanese Political Economy Seminar" sponsored by Collaborative Innovation Center for China Economy, School of Economics of Nankai University, Institute of Post-Keynesian Economics of Waseda University and Institute of Economics of Tsinghua University Academy of Social Sciences, assisted by Tsinghua University Institute of Modern State-owned Enterprises and Editorial Department of Political Economy Quarterly, and hosted by Center for Studies Political Economy of Nankai University and Department of Economics of Nankai University was held in Fanglou of School of Economics of Nankai University. This seminar invited many experts and scholars from Waseda University, Kobe University, Ritsumeikan University, Dadong Culture University, Toyama University in Japan, and related neighborhoods from Renmin University of China, Tsinghua University and Nankai University in China attend the meeting.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Jing Weimin, head of the Collaborative Innovation Center for China Economy, welcomed the participating experts and scholars in his speech, hoping to take this meeting as an opportunity to explore the establishment of a mechanism for exchange visits and cooperative research between Chinese and Japanese political economics scholars, and jointly promote the development and innovation of political economy. Professor Dai Songxue from Waseda University in Japan delivered a speech on behalf of Japanese scholars. He sincerely thanked Nankai University for hosting this academic conference, and pointed out that Nankai University has a high reputation in Japan, and looked forward to further academic exchanges in the future.
