On the morning of October 13th, the first meeting of "Celebrating the Centennial Nankai Series Activities" of School of Economics of Nankai University-"Paying tribute to all academic classics and celebrating the Centennial Birthday of Nankai" was successfully held in the conference room on the 8th floor. Yang Qingshan, Party Secretary of Nankai University, Cao Xuetao, President, Xue Jinwen, Hou Zixin, Gong Ke, etc., all congratulated the meeting and fully affirmed the great significance of holding such a symposium during the centennial celebration of Nankai University. The conference was hosted by School of Economics of Nankai University and China Institute of Wealth Economics. The meeting was presided over by Professor Chen Zongsheng, president of China Institute of Wealth Economics, former deputy secretary-general of Tianjin Municipal Government and central scholar, and Professor Sheng Bin, president of School of Economics, delivered an opening speech. Professor Pang Jinju and Professor Tong Jiadong, former vice president and center director of Nankai University, spoke at the meeting. Professor Zhang Rende, Researcher Peng Zhenyuan, Professor Liu Junmin, Professor Binglian Liu, Professor Yuan Xin, Professor Wang Yuru, Professor Jiang Dianchun and some young teachers and doctoral students were specially invited to attend the meeting.
